With a new ('Monoliths/Dimensions') album on it's way as well as having their music featured in the new Jim Jarmusch film 'The Limits of Control' alongside 'Earth' & 'Boris' it's looking like this is possibly the year that 'Sunn O)))' will break out from the 'doom/drone metal' minority box that they are presently in. To my ears (as the soundtrack to my unraveling world) there is something very cathartic about this band, especially when played at maximum volume.
