Some very thirsty koalas out there

Bear in mind (sorry) that koalas normally get all the liquid they need from the eating of eucalyptus leaves.

  1. It would have been too obvious for the old 'how much can a koala bear?'line, wouldn't it?

  2. Poor babies! With all their forage gone, they must be hungry and thirsty!

  3. Yes, it's a tragedy all around. The death toll has been updated to 189 officially and the final toll is expected to be around 230. They reckon well over a million animals perished and of course for any koalas that did survive there are now no ecalyptus trees for them to get the leaves from. ALL that they eat!
The animal shelter that has 'Sam' the koala has last I heard 24 (!) rescued koalas!!!
    What to say?
