Thanx fr the link - Public Address & No Left Turn are following the infighting locally, with Boing Boing taking a close interest. Judith Tizard who drafted the bill for Labour b4 the election was one of the most far right member of a well rightwing Labour government. No signs of light yet tho' Nats are somewhat stunned at the opposition they've stirred up. I'm just confused as to what's gonna constitute an "Illegal download" & the fact that my ISP has said they're on board with this new regimen. G
My son was just telling me that Stephen Fry has just 'twittered' re this...how come no-one seems to be aware of the shit that is happening here in Australia! Press the "CLEAN FEED" logo on the right hand side column of my blog for link! Regards/ PS: Can I pay you in Grateful Dead boots?
Sorry , being a hopeless fashion victim & an inverted snob from way back I gave up on admitting to ever liking the Dead in about '78, tho' with the current Freak Folk & Americana mini-booms its probably alright to admit to liking Workingmans' Dead again at least. You probably gathered tho' I'm more partial to the likes of the Kills these days & various totally obscure artrock things like Ponytail and Art Brut.
BTW I'm wondering if the other link, re the milgram authoritarianism experiment isn't working for me is 'cos of my being in NZ - we can't get BBC content or anything on Hul here either. In fact up till about a year ago you couldn't even get anything on Itunes here. It's ok, I've got quite enough other stuff to be going on with. G
I was only joking about the Dead...the other link I gave you I uploaded and so it MUST work... Regards/ PS: American Beauty & Workingman's I reckon are a really nice double pack tho'
