So the other night I went to see Dan Tucceri performing at the piano in the Carringbush Hotel again and one of the bonuses is that sometimes Dan tells a tale about the performer or the piece that he is playing.
Now my knowledge of classical music is not so hot and so I only learnt the other night (when Dan was performing Dubussy's Pegodes and it kept reminding me of Merry Christmas Mr lawrence / Forbidden Colours) of the influence of Asian music on Debussy and his influence on Ryuichi Sakamoto.
