  1. Excellent.
I downloaded a few of these some time back.
    Fascinating stuff.
I must go and check out some of the others I haven't yet heard, thanks for the reminder!

One I can highly recommend is the one about the 'Ethics Of Wishing'.
About some guy who built this 'Wishing Machine' out of random bits of machinery, which apparently worked!
Although, like the story The Monkey's Paw, there's a certain danger involved, of which Burroughs devises a set of rules to safeguard against.

I found with a lot of these recordings, the Q & As which followed the lectures were more interesting than the lectures themselves.
There's a fair bit of Cold War stuff discussed which is a bit tedious and not all that interesting, but many of the subjects discusssed are most fascinating.

Not sure if it's up on archive.org, I managed to get it from emule quite some time back, but there's an amazing lecture by Aldous Huxley on the subject of mind control about, which I can also highly recommend (and which is probably more relevant today than when it was recorded)

  3. I sampled one of those interviews with Timothy Leary & William S. Burroughs for this piece:

I recorded it four or five years ago as an experiment.

  5. Thanks Mona.

Not sure if you'll see this since it's so buried on the blog now, but I was doing experiments with samples for a while. Here's a track I did with some of the audio from the voyager mission golden record:
