Googled some combination of yr name and NZ and live journal and it led me to a post on some NZ muso (Brian Deenish or something?) and a thing about you rocking up w a tape to this guy's flat in a purple leather jacket(you had released one of this guy's records.) Maybe something to do with 'Failsafe records'?

Well the facts as reported are tru(ish) if not stated the way I would (will) put them. The point is tho' that this is something that happened nearly thirty years ago, & while somewhat sensational took no more than ten seconds to happen so don't really deserve to define the entire 57 years of my life. There's so much more interesting, informative stuff to write about. I AM going to write about it when I get to that point in my autobiography Vol 3 (probably starting around the end of next year) It's one of a number of things I just wish others, (Bill & others) would just stfu about. So sorry, you'll just have to wait.

PS The Failsafe thing ? That's a whole other story. F/safe was my #1 competition over the 10 years I ran my own label (85-95) so take anything they say with a grain of salt
Interesting life you have obviously led and something strange when I was at yr blog earlier I looked at a post for the 20th Jan as it is my birthdate!!!! My father used to work for NZ Shipping Co. maybe we are identical twins apart from the fact that you are a couple of years older and I am obviously a 'gurl'!!!
