Hania Rani - Live from Studio S2 Warsaw
The full live set video was premiered on the evening before the annual Piano Day worldwide celebrations (March 29th). The motivation to make the recording of the live performances which became the release ‘Live from Studio S2’ came from the invitation from the Berlinale Film Festival.
'In the beginning of February 2021, I was asked to record a live set as a part of EFM sessions, which are the part of the Festival. I thought that bringing back my piano and equipment to the hall where I recorded my live session videos for my debut album 'Esja' would be a nice idea and the right cinematic choice. The iconic Studio S2 is one of the recording studios of Polish Radio in Warsaw. The hall is fully covered with light wood, which reminds me of other Radio Studios all around the world - like Funkhaus in Berlin. It felt very special to be in the hall where we recorded a video for "Glass", one of my most liked videoclips. There is a kind of intimacy when playing the little piano in this huge and also very high venue'

Scott 4
Continued
I have to say this mob have been one of my hidden treasures since picking up two of their CD's for a dollar each about 15 years ago. Why have they been almost completely forgotten? Guess we will never know but I do know that I have been searching for a mention of them on the web every so often over the years and nothing until now...But this is what music blogs are for and hopefully Dave, the Scott 4 revival starts thanks to your post

Documentary on 'Dr. Gonzo' captures Oscar Zeta Acosta's wild ride
So I only just found out about this programme that was shown in the US four years ago. I remember reading Acosta's book a LONG time ago (late seventies I'm guessing) and tho I did find out more about the man and his work and disappearance, every time I went looking for a second hand copy of 'The Autobiography Of A Brown Buffalo' the prices were higher each time...
Skintologists - Db 105
Released March 3 2021
Skintologists are Fritz Catlin from 23 Skidoo, Last Few Days & Laibach and Mike Joseph, bassist and co founder of Welfare Heroine with the late Dele Fadele
A FB post from Fritz caught my eye with part of the periodic table pictured and the comment "Who thought Db 105 was a listening volume suggestion?"
Got to say very clever and made me delve into this particular element more..."an artificially produced radioactive transuranium element in Group Vb of the periodic table, atomic number 105"... sorry. You can induge yourself here if you so desire. Now I have to come clean and say I actually have an O Level in chemistry. God alone knows how as the only things I remember now are test tube, bunsen burner, the view out of my class window and the size of my teacher's tits. (Let me just say that it's the little things that stay with you)
Oh and I also found this from 2009...
Got to make room for more vinyl
If there was a Snooker Museum then maybe this table would be in it? A little bit of history is now looking for a new home.

Russell actually called him the 'Chookie Embra'. It was NeilK who supplied the post title. A pun I suspect he may have had up his sleeve for a while
