Scanner (aka Robin Rimbaud), is creating a sonic world celebrating Glasgow and its journey through different modes of transport that have been used over time. This sonic journey will take you from human powered transportation – walking, running, swimming, through the advent of technology with bicycles, boats and aircraft.
Often traversing the experimental terrain between sound, space, image and form, Scanner is renowned for creating absorbing, multi-layered sound pieces that twist technology in unconventional ways. His work has won him international admiration from amongst others, Bjork, Aphex Twin and Stockhausen.
