i very much liked the end of this, when all of the no-wavers were asked, after they'd said their collective piece about the current generation of musicians, exactly what new ideas were out there and what would/should come next.

and although they had a valid point, and although i was and remain enamored of no wave, they irritated me all the same.
I think it was very apt that Eno got involved with 'No New York' as there was a studied artiness there right from the beginning that wasn't there in the likes of Patti S/TV/Hell/Talking Heads - sure they were still art influenced but not as calculating...
