The Pixies - loudQUIETloud: A Film About the Pixies
An intimate portrait of the band members and their trying, tense and ultimately triumphant return as one of rock music's greatest bands. When college rock darlings the Pixies broke up in 1992, their fans were shocked and dismayed. When they reunited in 2004, those same fans and legions of new listeners were ecstatic and filled with high hopes. loudQUIETloud follows the rehearsals and the warm up shows for the full-fledged, sold out reunion tour. It also catalogs, in the cinema verite style of the Rolling Stones' "Gimme Shelter" and Bob Dylan's "Don't Look Back", the less glamorous side of the touring band lifestyle, getting as close to this enigmatic act as anyone is ever likely to get. LoudQUIETloud captures the Pixies in a once in a lifetime chance at rock n roll redemption. Original soundtrack by Daniel Lanois.

Dear IFPI
That is the second time that you have deleted a file that I have uploaded citing piracy issues. The file in question is Little Feat's 'Electrif Lycanthrope' which is available here at the Internet Archive: http://archive.org/details/lf1974-09-19.flac16. It was mixed by Lowell George and its availability is fully sanctioned by the band themselves. It also - this second time of uploading at my post - had had 3 downloads. So that is a FUGN MASSIVE win against 'alleged' piracy (and I use the term loosely in a non legalese way.)
By the way who are you working for if not on the artist's behalf?
One Day in September
One Day in September is a 1999 documentary film directed by Kevin
Macdonald examining the 5 September 1972 murder of 11 Israeli athletes
at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany.
This blog is now officially an Olympic free zone
I am however counting down
the hours til the jingoistic shouts of 'Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi,
Oi' shall scream from every newspaper cover and be shouted from every
street corner by flag wearing
Australians really proud that their country is up there with the greats
and forgetting for a moment that each gold that Australia WILL win costs
taxpayers in the region of 49 million dollars each!!! Fuck the
Olympics. Fuck the commercialism of ALL sports and fuck the need to base
yr national identity and sense of self on something so absolutely fugn
meaningless /endrant
