William S. Burroughs - Burroughs Called The Law (conducted by Dub Spencer & Trance Hill)
From Burroughs In Dub
What is Punk? (Eric Morse and Anny Yi)
From the borough of Queens / came contenders to the throne: / in blue jeans and leather, / four teens called Ramones
They got straight to the point: / a one, a two, and three four, / “Hey ho, let’s go,” / two-minute songs—never more
Punks made a lot of noise, / they had something to say. / And just like the boys, / the girls came to play
Siouxsie, Go-Gos, and Blondie, / X-Ray Spex and the Slits / all made a holy racket / with their glitter and their grit.
That’s right, the Sex Pistols / a name naughty as can be / would harass the upper class, / with songs of Queen and anarchy.
They hoped that their sound / would never be forgotten. / So they made up silly names / like Sid Vicious and Johnny Rotten

Live Jam with Daniel Lanois
I SO need to make an ACME PAINT CO. stencil. Has Mr Lanois screenprinted it on ALL of his jackets? Now I also want to know what it says under the tape on his cap

Preacher (Coming in 2016)
Regrets? Sure I got a few but a major one was that just before I left to come out here to Melbourne in 86 I was asked to do the lettering for Steve Dillon's artwork (at the time stuff for 2000AD I think). I'd got introduced to Simon through the best man at my wedding Scurvy who was also whom the likeness of Si the serial killer was based on in Preacher. Previously Simon's dad had done the lettering but had just had a stroke. My ex partner still regrets this not coming together as they felt we could have not moved back to their hometown. I personally couldn't stand the idea of moving back to Thatcher's Britain. Of course had the internet been around...anyway such is life but looking forward to the TV adaption of Preacher
