Some friends of mine recorded an EP at Albini's place about a year after "In Utero." I was there hanging out with them during the mixing process. Albini was -- much to their surprise -- very deferential and diplomatic about the whole thing. Going by that (and other people I knew who later recorded with him), there's parts of this that are deeply funny.
And then there was also this, which came out of the sessions...
Energy, fun, knowledge and ethics. Wish I'd had a chance to work with him when I was in a band.
