Inspired
by 'Deep Water Blackout' (an original piece of music by The John
Shelton Trio), We Danced In Narrow Spaces was shot in a derelict asylum
on the outskirts of London on May 13th, 2013. The seven-minute film is a
dream-like fable played out in a ruined landscape, and explores the
ideas of personal, social and cultural memory - and how these are
affected by and become entwined with place, and what happens to these
memories once a specific site is erased or forgotten.
