David Aronovitch wrote a column inviting his guardian readers to call him a cunt if his backing for the bombardment of iraq turned out not to be a blessing for it's people, but then went off to work for rupert murdoch instead.....still he didn't stoop as low as julie burchill in his efforts towards mood control at that time, her column about what she hated about "arab-lovers" (she used the term about 5 times) mysteriously never appeared in the archive on the guardian website. When a big propaganda effort is required the "liberal" press shows it's true colours as merely a pressure valve to enable the military industrial complex's grip on our leaders to stay hidden behind a veneer of democracy
