Jim White VS The Packway Handle Band - Corn Pone Refugee/Not A Song/Israelites (FREE DOWNLOAD)

When Jim White and the guys from Packway Handle Band came to visit our office last summer, we had no idea that they had never played live together before. The two acts combined forces last year to form Jim White Vs. The Packway Handle Band. The guys originally approached Jim about producing their new record and he did the next best thing. He joined the band.
We took them to a warehouse just outside of historic downtown Hillsborough to record their first live session together. They played us a few tunes, including a cover of “Israelites,” made famous by Desmond Dekker & The Aces

Irmin Schmidt of Can to receive French knighthood

Irmin Schmidt will receive the French Chevalier De L’Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres from the French Ministry of Culture.
The award, which comes with a knighthood, is awarded for his contribution to the arts and culture. He will receive the honour on February 10

Andrew Weatherall's beard for sale on eBay

Andrew Weatherall's beard needs no introduction...
Not only is this a chance to own the beard, but it is also expected to have a steady revenue stream from appearances worldwide, obviously this is not going to be a stake in the artist, however the agent for the artist has insisted they are keeping the 'beard' on the books for events.
