When Postage Stamps Are Too Dangerous for Children’s Eyes

♪♫ Billy Bragg - Desperado

For a band on tour, the sound-check is an important part of the day, but after a week or two, it all becomes a bit of a chore. To allow the sound man to check all the instrument levels, you tend to fall into a routine of the same four or five songs. So when someone plays the intro of a familiar tune, it doesn't take much to get everyone jamming along. Soon, you find yourself performing something that you know all the words to - because it was once a favourite song - yet would never consider adding to your live set. We refer to these tunes Guilty Pleasures and, over the past six months, I've filmed a number of them which I intend to post here in the coming weeks.
This version of the Eagles 'Desperado' was filmed during the sound check at the Alix Goolden Hall in Vancouver BC on 4th April 2013
Billy Bragg - vocals
