Philip Chevron Testimonial

It was a joy to wake up to the broadcast of this gig last night in Dublin. The recording is not up yet at RTE but should be up tomorrow and will be available to listen for the next 30 days. It was such sad news that Phil's cancer has returned and is inoperable as he truly is one of the nicest men I have ever met. We had numerous chats about music when he worked at Rock On and although he was not a Pogue yet by the time I left London in 83, he was when I would catch up again in various Camden bars on my flying visits back to London from Am*dam.

Quentin Tarantino: My Best Friend's Birthday (1987 Short Film)

My Best Friend's Birthday is a partially lost black-and-white amateur film written by Craig Hamann and Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tarantino, while he was working at the now shuttered Video Archives in Manhattan Beach, California. The project started in 1984, when Hamann wrote a short 30-40 page script about a young man who continually tries to do something nice for his friend's birthday, only to have his efforts backfire.
