Welcome back...

The 'Exile' team would like to apologise for redirecting you in the last 23 hours (we lost an hour here in Melbourne today due to daylight saving) as our April Fools Day prank.

A number of people e/mailed me to ask 'what had happened' so maybe we have lost a lot of our readers who took it as genuine that we had our blog taken down down by the FBI!!!

Though based on this (now infamous image here and elsewhere) I would have thought that the words and images we used would have given the game away that although we were very serious in our message to you - it wasn't exactly genuine :)

Labour Councillor Announces That He Is An Alien From Outer Space

Town councillor Simon Parkes has claimed his mother is a green alien and extra-terrestrials abducted him as a child. Parkes believes a 2.7m (9ft) lifeform stood next to his cot when he was a baby and ‘two green stick things’ appeared. ‘I thought “they’re not mummy’s hands, mummy’s are pink,’ Mr Parkes said in a YouTube video.
