Hazel Dooney flies high!
'The Aviatrix' by Hazel DooneyThe above painting was sold tonight for $32.701 (Australian) / (14,375 UK pounds) at Christies in London.
What can I say apart from the fact that Ms. Dooney is one of our most exciting (and challenging) artists working in Australia today.

Bush acknowledges absence of al Qaeda in pre-occupation Iraq with a "So What"!
BUSH: One of the major theaters against al Qaeda turns out to have been Iraq. This is where al Qaeda said they were going to take their stand. This is where al Qaeda was hoping to take-
RADDATZ: But not until after the U.S. invaded.
BUSH: Yeah, that's right. So what? The point is that al Qaeda said they're going to take a stand. Well, first of all in the post-9/11 environment Saddam Hussein posed a threat. And then upon removal, al Qaeda decides to take a stand.
