For my own part, my life would be a hell of a lot easier without graphic designers - but I'm from the print end, so it's only natural!

some of these are absolutely true of many designers i've known! i felt like i was working in the belly of the beast when i was at high-brow seattle design house hornall anderson design works. now i work for the company that produces dungeons and dragons, so my high-brow days are long over, HA! ah, print. all my friends tried to get me to switch from print to web back in the late 90s/early 00s. most of them got laid off in the dot com bust. i'm still doing fine (though, i doubt i'll ever have my own magazine, considering the bleak outlook for the magazine industry, damn it). some day i might just go back to computer programming, but for now i forge on with the typographic!
